Threaded Together – Hand Sewing Basics
March 22 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
No sewing machine? No problem! Before about 1850, every single thing humans needed was sewn by hand, and it’s still often the best way. Hand stitching can be more delicate or more sturdy than machine sewing, and gives you much more control when you’re sewing something tricky. Join us to practice some of the most useful hand stitches, and learn to use them for mending and for creating something new! You’ll also be able to see some of the instructor’s hand-stitched clothing. Beginners are welcome! All materials and tools are included. This is an inter-generational workshop! Ages 12+ may attend on their own, or with a friend. Please register each participant, so we know how many are coming. Saturday March 22nd 12 to 3 pm In Person at Threaded Together **Registration closes 48 hours before this workshop.** *All of our group classes are offered with sliding scale pricing! Please see the graphic on the main class page for details.*
