Montessori Forest Adventurers

Montessori Forest Adventurerers (7)

Adventurers between the ages of 5 and 12 will be playing, learning, exploring, and trying new things from 9 AM – 5 PM Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between June 1st and August 26th in the forest outside of Mountainaire.

Special projects will include sewing, weaving, basketry, photography, gardening, working with natural dyes, painting, astronomy, and the publication of a camp book authored and illustrated by the students.

Send your adventurer for the whole summer or for any of our three-week sessions, all of which are organized around themes incorporating vocabulary in Navajo, Spanish, and English.

No matter which session(s) you choose, we will be outside all day, hiking into the woods at 9:30 every morning and returning to homebase at about 3 PM for more outdoor fun in the garden and yard.
