What is Plant-Based?

Plant Based is a less intimidating way of saying you eat Vegan.

All of the following meals contain no animal products. Eat them three meals a day, or once a week. Either way, you’re doing the earth a solid!

Breakfast:

Upon hearing I was vegan, someone asked me, “what do you eat for breakfast?”

  • Uh, cereal. What do you eat for breakfast?

Lots of your typical favorite cereals are already vegan because they are full of so much processed crap. My favorite non-dairy milk to pair cereal with and cook with is flax milk. Almond milk is really popular but I think it doesn’t taste great and it’s not that much better for the environment than cow’s milk.

  • Every millennial’s favorite: Avocado Toast!
  • Biscuits and Gravy

Recently I found vegan freezer waffles. I’m very happy about it.

    • Woohoo! That’s so great! What I love about apple nachos is that they’re basically health food and definitely should not be counted as dessert.
