We partnered with Dillard’s Flagstaff to ‘Shop for the Cure’ and had a wonderful evening!
We enjoyed an evening full of fun for a great cause. Dillard’s Flagstaff hosted their ‘Fit for the Cure’ where Warcol Bras donated $2 for every woman who received a custom bra fitting on October 3rd. Our experience in the fitting rooms was fantastic! Almost every single attendee came in that night wearing the wrong bra size. The women who measured and fitted us for our new sizes were knowledgeable, thorough, sweet and funny. We recommend their fitting services to any woman looking to find a new bra.
Some Fit Facts we learned:
- Bra’s stretch! When you purchase a new bra, start on the last hook and move inward over time. When you reach the closest hook it’s time to think about getting a new bra.
- 5 – 10 pounds gained or lost can affect your bra size.
- Always handwash your bras. If you must machine wash – purchase a mesh garment bag to protect it.
- You should put your bra on and forget it. If you find it’s uncomfortable, digging or chafing it’s time to find a new fit.
Our evening started with an educational and hands-on demonstration from the Lancome Beauty Advisors. We received an overview of Lancome’s new and most popular products along with a custom skin profile to match our own personal concerns and skin type. Each attendee went home with an adorable SWAG Bag packed full of samples from Lancome, Clinique and even a selection of products for men! We’re using and loving the 7-day sample of the Lancome Genifique Serum!
Dillard’s provided a delicious spread of sandwiches, pasta and fruit salad from Wildflower Bread Company.
Thank you to everyone who attended our ‘Shop for the Cure!’ 100% of ticket sales will be donated to the Northern Arizona Healthcare Foundation, and designated for the Breast Cancer Fund. We loved working with Dillard’s Flagstaff, promoting this event for a great cause. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month – and FMB is proud to shine a light on an important topic that affects so many women and families.
If you or someone you love is affected by Breast Cancer – we’re thinking of you.
